Nubia & Brian’s Mountainside Malibu Wedding

Nubia and Brian first met in daycare and ended up dating in high school, though they drifted apart during college. But they couldn’t stay separated for very long. After graduation, Nubia and Brian quickly reconnected, and they have been together ever since. Their love story is spirited and unique, so it was only fitting that the couple host a wedding celebration to match.

Back in 2018, set against the mountains of Malibu during the peak of fall foliage, Nubia and Brian exchanged vows surrounded by friends, family, and a stunning circular arrangement of pampas grass. The simplicity of the ceremony was perfectly complemented by the vibrant reception, which featured rustic orange, blush, and yellow florals and modern black accents.

No detail of the wedding was overlooked. A five-tier wedding cake included the same black and gold and blush hues of both the ceremony and the reception, and a vintage black car created the perfect photo op for Nubia and Brian.

Guests dined outdoors at a long king’s table, where they were wowed by synchronized swimmers. The group then gathered on the monogrammed dance floor, where they danced the night away with the newly-married couple. We don’t know about you, but we look forward to the return of weddings just like this one.
