Container herb garden.
Because there’s really nothing better than growing your own
herbs then snipping them off to add to a
recipe.
Pro tips: Make sure your container has proper drainage. Choose
one favorite herb and grow a bunch of it (we’re looking at you,
basil), or grow a variety. Keep in mind that certain herbs do well
when grown together—basil, mint, dill and cilantro make for a happy
herb family. Sage and rosemary are another great pairing.
• Unless you’re an experienced gardener, we recommend using
plants vs. starting from   seed.
• Herbs need
light. Make sure your container herb garden is placed in an area that
gets   3-4 hours of sunlight a day.
• Herbs are
thirsty. Keep them well hydrated by watering once a day (twice on hot
  days).
• Feed your soil. Most soil does not
offer nutrients to your plants, so make sure to add a   slow
release fertilizer to your soil.
Container succulent garden.
So easy to maintain and glorious to behold, container succulent
gardens offer serious ROI.
• Succulents come in so many wonderful textures, shapes, and
sizes. Have fun   choosing the varieties you love. Just make
sure your mix is roughly all the same size.
• Choose
a glass terrarium
or wide, shallow container for a
succulent garden and cover   drainage holes with a piece of
cloth or screen.
• Use succulent-specific potting soil.
•
Add rocks, pebbles, marbles, or sea glass to create a finished-looking
garden.
• Step away. That’s right, succulent gardens do
best when tended to the least. Â Â Overwatering will actually
hurt these tough desert plants, so less is more!
Wall-mounted container garden.
Wall-mounted container
gardens are a dream for small outdoor spaces and allow urban gardeners
the chance to grow a variety of plants.
• Certain plants, like ferns and bromeliads, do very well in
vertical gardens. Herbs are   another great option, and we
also love vertical gardens for growing fresh greens, like
  lettuce or spinach.
• Group plants together
with similar light requirements.
• Do not over water.
Rather than frequent light waterings, give plants one good drink
  and check soil regularly.
