Hiya, friends! Doesn’t the title of this post alone have your mouth watering? In our recent shoot, which is all about bridal shower ideas complete with the entertaining essentials to add to your own Gift Registry, we knew we wanted to place an extra special focus on the dessert table. Not that we really have to sell you on *cake*, but dessert tables have understandably become just as important as the main tablescape (which we’re sharing on our blog today) as far as party elements go these days. They even provide yet another place to mingle. So we want to make sure you’ve got all you need to dream up the perfect one!
For those of you planning a bridal shower as we speak, we put a little twist on your typical sweets table with an insanely decadent dessert spread. But just as important as the desserts themselves is serving them up in the right display. We went with the small Marble Cake Stand and Marble Cheese Server to keep our cake and macarons safe and pretty, for example. (Yay for multifunctional serveware!)
As far as how to create that wow-factor for guests to walk up to, be sure to balance out all the desserts with different displays. The different heights of the cake stands, platters, and candy dishes add depth to the table, not to mention help make sure everything can be easily seen and tasted in all its sugary glory. Basically, presentation is key!
Our fave way to display tinier treats may just have to be this Two Tier Server + Mercer Platter below. Enlisting a pro behind the desserts themselves is always a good idea for a special event like a bridal shower, and we wanted to make sure that Sheila Mae’s treats were front and center.
