Erika Sandoval, owner of Erika Sandoval Event Planning and Design helped guests to find a few of their new favorite things they’ll want to pull out for special occasions or a casual get-together.
“When couples first get married, they start their own traditions by hosting dinner parties or even hosting their first holiday party and bringing both families together for the first time. I wanted to show what that might look like in their home using Crate and Barrel products. Couples were free to play with the dinnerware, try on their favorite wine glasses on the table and imagine how it would look in their new homes.”
Erika’s favorite form of entertaining is a classic dinner party. Her dinnerware pick is our Addison Grey Dinner Plates with the gold rim, which are everyday plates that can easily be dressed up for a special dinner. Focusing on mixed metals in her dinner party place setting, she paired them with our Round Silver Placemats, Ellenor Gold Flatware, Silver Aria napkin rings, and Helena Indigo Napkins. This versatile mix that can be easily coordinated with any napkin color to match your existing home decor.
“Registering for special occasion dinnerware should definitely be a thing! Even if registering for their own everyday dinnerware, I want couples to see what it will look like when it's all set up.”
While couples privately registered, they also learned how to use local vendor’s services for their big day.
Biscuits and Berries prepared croissant breakfast sliders, mini peach pancake stacks, and mini chicken and waffles. Perfect for a bridal party breakfast, don’t you think? A Cake Come True wowed with delicious cake bites while Por La Plaz brought the soundtrack, playing popular modern music with classical instruments.
Husband and wife duo, Lucky Onion, displayed their custom stationery products, Lumme Creations showed off fall floral bouquet inspiration, and Flashbox Photobooth gave couples a photo to remember the day by.
