What was the inspiration for your event?
Curated, modern, colorful, playful, painterly. I wanted to tie together Crate and Barrel’s clean and modern aesthetic in with a fine art wedding. Drawing inspiration from paint strokes, abstract art, minimalism, and fun colors! I feel like the modern couple with great, refined yet FUN taste would love this!
What was your fave moment at the event?
My favorite moment was walking around and seeing all of the couples interact with the stations and vendors, with smiles on their faces. From the decorating cookies to the mocktails, to seeing our styled shoot happen, it was all so fun!
Tell us more about the awesome vendors!
Blue Rose Photography: Brittany and Joe have such a good eye for details and are so passionate about capturing things perfectly. They are so laid back, yet professional and hard working. Their fine art, luxe style is unmatched, and any couple is lucky to have them!
Blue Box Bakery: Christina is SO talented. Her cakes are pieces of art and all of her desserts taste AMAZING! The cakes she made for the event were SO perfect!
The Fancy Cat Studio: Crystal has such a great eye for modern, clean, yet beautiful graphics. Her calligraphy is amazing as well. LOVE working with her, and her painted invitation suite and welcome sign she did for the event were spot on!
Lisa Dupar Catering: Lisa Dupar and her team really are SO sweet and professional. One of the top catering co’s in the area, always 110% to their events and the food is phenomenal!
Yessie Libby: Yessie has an ease about her to help calm down the Bride’s nerves on the morning of their wedding day. Her way to naturally enhance the beauty without the makeup being too thick or contoured is unmatched, she just makes everyone glow while still looking like themselves!
Happy Camper Cocktail Company: This lady (and her team) can sure make an amazing cocktail (or mocktail!). Her mocktail for the event changed colors with the pH from the ingredients. AMAZING!
Pomp and Revel: Danielle can pretty much custom engrave or laser cut anything you can think of. She is my go-to for signs, favors, tags, gifts, etc! For this event, she made various options for table numbers, engraved menus, drink stirrers, some signage, etc. Possibilities are endless!
Robbie Christmas: I first heard Robbie sing at a wedding show last year and his voice stopped me in my tracks. He has such an amazing voice, AND has a brand new single out that everyone needs to go check out! I think he would add great ambiance to a cocktail hour or even wedding ceremony!
Botanique: Kelly with Botanique has such grace and her calmness and grace shows through her floral designs. She is one of my favorite florists ever and I respect her and her creativity so much, I even took a floral design class a few years back with her. LOVE her work!
