how to measure for
furniture delivery

After you find the perfect seat or
dresser for your little one’s room, follow
these simple tips for measuring
furniture for a breezy delivery.

measure your space

Grab your measuring tape and measure the
heights (A) and widths (B) of all hallways
and door accesses, as well as entry
clearances (C), along the various paths from
the exterior doors to your baby’s room.

Besides measuring all interior
entryways, you should also consider the size
constraints of the entire path from our
delivery truck to your nursery or kid’s room.
Don’t forget to measure fence gates or any
other exterior points of entry.

measure the furniture

For gliders, rockers and
dressers, you’ll need to
measure the width (A)
and the diagonal depth (B).

Remember, the diagonal depth of the furniture
must be less than the entryway width. Need
help calculating the dimensions?

associate for help.

compare the two

Compare the dimensions of your home
and your new kids and nursery furniture to
confirm the best path for delivery.

Don't forget to make note of any other obstacles
such as ceilings, light fixtures, interior walls,
stairwell banisters and turns.
