Laundry Day with Blue Hampers

Make laundry days chic with blue hampers. From the nursery to the master bedroom, rich colors and floral pastels complement almost any aesthetic. For a convenient place to drop clothes before jumping in the shower, place a basket near the bath tower. Add an accompanying hamper that’s designated for collecting bath towels and hand towels. In addition to the bathroom, position a hamper in each of the kids’ rooms for dirty clothes. Once laundry day arrives, place different blue hampers underneath a worktable to further organize the process—use a dark blue hamper to hold dark loads, an aqua hamper for colors and a baby-blue hamper for whites. For a twist on the traditional method, a hamper doubles as a decorative storage basket. In the living room or foyer, place two identical hampers underneath a console table to hold any extra decorative pillows or throws.
